The beets
The tuna
This week while dining at Peter’s I enjoyed a meal worth writing about. I can’t stop recalling the mouthwatering sensations on my palate. It started with an appetizer of Red Beet Carpaccio with blueberry goat cheese, figs, and crushed pistachios. Each morsel was sweet and savory. That was followed by an Ahi Tuna Steak with a black and white sesame seed/ginger crust, which packed a powerful punch of flavor. It was accompanied by wasabi mashed potatoes and balsamic glaze. Speaking of the glaze, when the dish was presented to me, it was almost too beautiful to eat! Almost! The meal ended just as deliciously with a delicate Chocolate Lava Cake filled with a heavenly ooze of warm chocolate.
If you’re in the area do stop by and treat yourself. Peter is a most gracious host and his wait staff are welcoming and friendly.
